Dessert Truck !

So about 2weeks ago (during 'Dessert week' @ FootArtforKids) we ran about our once a week field trip! this time to a place I've never been before, but have only heard great things about. So we hopped on a Subway and headed to the East Village where the cozy little niche lays. With a small lecture and demo from the Pastry Chef, the kids were mesmorized. Especially since they got samples of the thinnest chocolate wafer toppings I've ever tried!

Right as you walk on, you are drawn to a showcase of several french macaroons. Their decadence of color really is captivating! Blackberry and Makers Mark Caramel tickled my fancy. So extremely crip on the outside and with a CRACK the inside melted in yout mouth and the flavor and texture was overwhelming. The caramel stole the show :)

Each student was delighted with their Macaroon. Not one had a single bad thing to say about the place. Clean, Friendly, and deeeeliciouso! Their coffee was pleasing to the taste buds as well.
Shown above is the 'Raspberry Anise' a student had shown me after devouring it from the moment she laid her hands on it. I didn't try it but we can see that its absolutely beautiful in there!
